Stopped here last night due to weather and short of our planned destination. The young guy closing up for the night was very helpful and got us a great rate on a very nice hotel. It cleared later than forecast the next day so we hung out in their lounge and refueled (straightforward reasonable priced self-serve) and snacked from their honor kitchen and got lunch from the Flight Deck Restaurant next door. All for a $5 overnight fee.

Just a quick note to say again how great everyone is at Salem Air Center. Stopped in for lunch in Salem over Labor Day weekend and they were able to provide me with the use of the crew car. It made our trip to Salem that much more enjoyable. Thanks to all, you're all great! Looking forward to our next trip!

My wife and I flew our Mooney into Salem on a genealogy search (Salem is Oregon's capital and has its state archives). No prior warning, first visit yet treated like old friends. A rental car quickly appeared. The plane was serviced while we filled out the paperwork. Upon departure, they offered cold bottled water. A great location, highly recommended.

Staff support is always the best. A while ago the SS fuel station wouldn't work and the staff provided fuel from the truck at the SS price. On 7/6/19 the SS station was working, but it is the most complicated (for me) system I have seen all over the country. Finally got it to turn on. The fuel pressure is very high and the flow is very difficult to control, especially fueling high wing tip tanks. I wonder if it would be possible to decrease that fuel pressure?

Can't say enough good things about Ron and his team at Salem Air Center and their help at this very nice facility. We called a week out asking for help with hotel and rental car. Turned out June graduations filled almost all local hotel rooms. Despite that, on arrival, Ron had gotten us a great room at an excellent rate at the Doubletree, and a very nice rental car. And a surprise flat tire on their fuel truck couldn't stop them from fueling us promptly for a dawn departure back to Las Vegas the next day. Well done guys! Nice to run into pro's.

Each time I fly into Salem I am treated like a long lost relative. Mark and Ron could not have been more helpful. Other FBO's could take lessons from these great folks. Many thanks

Super friendly, helpful and cheerful. Flew in from Seattle and to visit my daughter's local soccer tournament. Used courtesy car to get to the field and back. Advised us about a toxic tap water issue in the Salem region, since a few weeks, and gave us a few bottles of cooled water. Very clean FBO. Salem airport also has a nice restaurant with outside patio overlooking the field. Great experience.

Needed air in tires and no fuel this time. Service was cheerful ... and free! Not to mention proximity to the airfield diner. I love this stop.

My wife and I arrived on the morning of August 21, 2017 for the Solar Eclipse. We had a PPR number that was provided us many weeks prior by Ron Peters the owner. We parked near the tower among what seemed to be hundreds of aircraft, corporate to GA. All said, the linemen did an outstanding job of directing us to parking and securing the area. When it was time to depart, we got fuel on a moments notice. We both had an outstanding lunch at the airport diner, then went to Salem Aviation to purchase a few pilot supplies. Salem Aviation has a very nicely stocked pilot shop indeed! While we were there we got to meet Ron Peters, what a kind gentleman. Special thanks for all Ron and his staff did of us; it made for a very special and memorable event. Thanks again

Flew in to Salem last weekend. Even before the prop stopped turning the car was being driven up to the plane. Excellent service, very nice people, and a GPU start when leaving when my battery was a bit weak was the topper. I highly recommend these folks

My wife and I flew into KSLE two weeks ago, she had a meeting and I had the day off. We had an EPIC Welcome from Eric, Echo and a great departure send off from the " BRUT" Ron. I took the crew van shopping at Costco for the weekend, returned to a fueled plane, great conversation and even rested before returning home. We look forward to our next visit.

My wife, kids and I were attempting to meet family for a summer vacation in Newport OR and had to divert to Salem after a missed approach due to low IFR conditions. Ron and his team were more than helpful and accommodating to us at an unfamiliar airport. The line service tech helped me at the self-service fuel island, Ron offered us cold water, a rental car for use to get to Newport as well as great advice on how best to get there. Ron brought the car right out to our plane complete with a bag of snacks and toy planes for the kids. I cannot reiterate what a top-notch facility Salem Aviation is. The facility is clean, pilot lounge / planning rooms are great. Fuel prices and overnight fees are more than reasonable. We will keep Ron's facility at the top of our list when we next visit the Northwest.

My wife and I have flown all over the US for several years, and our experience this week with Ron and Eric tops just about any service we have ever had...Anywhere. My wife opted to stay at the FBO for a few hours while I attended a meeting downtown. While she was there, she was offered fresh fruit, magazines, informative conversation, and kindness, which made her feel like she was visiting with old friends. We would go out of our way to stop there again. From the red carpet to the attention to every detail, Salem Air Center (thanks again Ron and Eric) is first-rate...The best!

Ron Peters runs a first class FBO operation. I fly into SLE quite often and Ron is always there insuring that everything that I need is provided. Great people and a very clean and well run operation. I highly recommend!

I was grounded by weather for over 24 hrs at Salem Aviation Fueling and Ron Peters and his staff was Great! I had everything I needed, wifi, printing, comfy chairs, TV, snacks, restrooms. My wife and I were well taken care of. They even got us a hotel room and took us to the hotel. Excellent service. I will stop in again. Thanks Ron!

Each year, we drop our daughter off at Willamette University by way of KSLE. This was our forth trip. Whether in an RV6A or A36, each time the Salem Air Center staff was friendly and helpful. On this last trip, my crew decided a rental car would be needed at the very last minute. When staff was unable to locate a car, they offered up the crew car, which did the job. On departure, each of us had a cold water bottle in hand for the return trip. Excellent FBO!
